Benefits of online gambling top reasons to gamble online

The online gambling industry is the most profitable industry on the internet. Millions of people around the world are wagering on sports online, playing online poker, bingo and even the lottery online at any of the thousands of gambling sites available on the net. Even people who have never visited a land based casino or a local bookie are finding themselves visiting online casinos and poker rooms on a regular basis.

So, what makes gambling on the internet so appealing? Yes, you can play any game of your choice without having to leave your favorite chair. Still, you will not be served free drinks; you will not be able to watch the game you have wagered on from big TV screens; you can neither see the facial expressions of your poker opponents nor to hear the sounds of the coins fall from the slot machine when you hit the big jackpot…

Here are the benefits of gambling online comparing to traditional gambling:

Diversity: how else can you jump from an online poker room to the craps table and to a bingo hall while staying seated on your most comfortable chair? Most online casinos feature a large variety of casino table games, slots and video poker machines. Moreover, in many major online gambling companies you can switch from online casino gambling to online sports wagering with the same username and account.

Bonuses: where else can you receive free money to gamble with? Most online casinos offer free money bonuses in order to entice new customers and to keep up with the competition. The bonuses can start from 10 dollars free just for downloading the casino software to a couple of thousand dollars for completing a certain required amount of raked hands

Convenience: obliviously, what can be more convenient than playing your favorite casino game in the comfort of your own home while listening to your favorite music and drinking your favorite beer? Not to mention being able to put your dealer on hold each time up you want to take a break

Smoking and Dress Codes: whether you are a smoker or a non smoker, when you are gambling online you are free from obeying the rules. Same goes for dressing, eating and drinking; you can either smoke non stop or remain in a non smoking environment; wear your sloppiest clothes or stay naked; eat, drink, talk on the phone, watch TV, whatever

Atmosphere: when you are gambling online, there are not any cocktail waitresses who will sedate you with free drinks and distract you from beating the dealer. In addition, you can set an atmosphere of your choice that can include clocks or even a source of day light

Beginner Friendly: a land based casino can be an intimidating place for the newbie gambler. The average online casino, on the other hand, is much more beginner friendly than its brick and mortar equivalent. Interactive tutorials, play money modes and the option of avoiding social embarrassment caused by misunderstanding of the rules and codes of behavior is a more pleasant welcome for the novice casino gamer or poker player

Safety: yes, gambling online is usually safer than playing in a land based casino and carrying big amounts of cash money in your pocket. Most online casinos are reliable and respectable businesses that will not risk their reputation and lose their customers base by scamming their players

In addition to the list of benefits mentioned above, online gambling offers equal opportunity for people with disabilities or those who cannot afford traveling out of their state to play in a legal land based casino.

However, reading about the benefits of online gambling makes the huge popularity of online gambling, online poker playing and online sports wagering much easier to understand.

Get paid to surf and help the environment at the same time

I like many other surfers living in various parts of the world have had the dream to get paid to surf, here is how I did it. I now only work from home in the hours that I set and revolve around surfing and the other leisure activities that I enjoy, like yoga and working with environmental groups to help save the oceans and the planet. I did this simply by following the groundwork that was laid out for me by the experts and simply did what they did and it works. So now I surf on a regular basis and help the environment and people at the same time. Every surfers dream being able to do what they enjoy while giving back getting and giving good karma.

So here is how I did it. Accomplished what most surfers only dream about, having money come in even while I am in the water. I followed a detailed step by step system to get in touch with people. The goal of the whole concept is to be able to connect with and share the gift of working from home saving the environment and helping others who want out of there physical and financial problems with lots of people. People are wonderful creatures a least the ones who take action and live there life on there own terms. People who start a business in there spare time to be able to stay home with there kids. There are allot of people who are sick of the corporate world and want a way to contribute to others while earning money.

Billionaire's who's main purpose in buying and building a company to a 5 billion dollar company is to solve malnutrition and global warming. People can do many wonderful things if they have the proper nutrition and a way to make money and contribute. The key to what I accomplished is the ability to connect with people and give them what they want. Most people today want more money more free time and a way of doing business that gives them a sense of pride. A way to give back to people and the environment at the same time.

This is what I did.

But here is how I did it. As I said earlier I found a way to connect with people lots of people. I found a way to talk to and be in direct contact with people who are looking for what I can offer them. And all of this step by step system can be found in the resource box. It explains exactly what I did to help other people and live the surfers dream.

Top 5 things to look for in a vertical jump program

If you're looking to improve your basketball skills and want to jump higher or even dunk, vertical jump programs can help you out. Which jump programs actually deliver the goods though? There are so many different ones out there, and most of them make claims that they can't back up. If gaining 15 inches to your vertical without was really as easy as some programs make you think, wouldn't everybody be dunking by now? So how can you find a really good vertical program?

Here are the 5 things you should look for in a vertical jump program.

1. Uncomplicated instructions

It's important that you can understand what the creator of the program is talking about. It shouldn't matter if you're a beginner or a professional, the program should be easy for anybody to start doing without a glossary of complicated terms and words.

2. Plyometrics and weighlifting workout routines

Only programs that have plyo and weight workouts are helpful. If the product you're looking at doesn't have these things, there's no way it can help you jump higher. Plyometrics is all about explosive movements, which is something you'll need when you try and dunk.

3. Customizable workouts

All athletes are at different stages, and what might work for you probably wouldn't work for someone else. This is why it's very important that a program has enough workouts for beginners, intermediate and advanced ballers. That way, if you're really good at plyometrics workouts, but you've never lifted weights in your life, you can create a special workout made up of the exact programs that you need.

4. Improves overall strength and speed

If you can jump higher, you should automatically be stronger and faster, so if you're only able to jump an inch or two higher, the workout system you have is probably not helping you get stronger or faster.

5. Be Affordable

You shouldn't have to spend an arm and a leg just to jump high! There are some workouts out there that are worth the money, but very few of them actually are.

If you can find all five of these things in a vertical jump program, it's a good one, and you should try it out.

New york luxury car service it s not just stretch limos anymore

Having lived in New York, I've always been fascinated by limos. I'd look at those gleaming stretched Cadillacs and Lincolns with their uniformed drivers and wonder who was sitting inside behind that black-tinted glass. New York limousines seemed the epitome of luxury floating in a sea of lesser cars and grungy yellow cabs. Later I got to ride in limos myself and found the experience everything I expected it to be. There's nothing like it if you want to get places in style, safely and reliably.

When most people think of luxury car service, they think of stretch limos, elegant black sedans with room for six to ten people. Those still dominate most limo fleets in New York City and elsewhere, but they are no longer all that is available. These days the leading limo services also offer luxury cars, Sports Utility Vehicles, specially equipped vans and buses, and armored vehicles (and some have even branched out into jet fleet service!).

Why did they do that? It was not to replace the traditional stretch limo but rather to complement it with a variety of vehicle options suited for different assignments and services.

For example, typical New York limos attract attention wherever they go, even in a city that has seen it all. That is part of the limo appeal and part of what makes a limo special. However, there are times when some customers would rather blend in without giving up on luxury. For that reason limo services may offer regular American or German luxury sedans, like an S-Class Mercedes or a BMW 750.

Sports Utility Vehicles are not only very popular, they are also well equipped to handle potholes and swallow lots of luggage. Limo services quickly realized that and began adding SUVs and stretched SUVs to their fleets. The premier NYC car services offer both standard and extended versions of the Lincoln Navigator and the Cadillac Escalade. These seat up to seven passengers.

Perhaps the ultimate attention getters these days are Stretch SUVs. The Cadillac Stretch ESV seats up to 18! For a more rugged look, and guaranteed to turn heads anywhere, there's the Stretch Hummer. This is perhaps the wildest ride available anywhere. Looking tough and invincible outside, the inside of a Stretch Hummer may be configured to transport up to 20 people, or set up like an exclusive, exotic nightclub. There may be hardwood floors, multiple large flat-screen TVs, real aquariums, luxurious bars, mood lighting and ultra-comfortable seating. The sky's truly the limit.

For somewhat less conspicuous transportation, NYC car services offer luxuriously equipped standard vans that can transport up to 14 passengers, and spacious limo buses for up to 20. These vans and buses generally offer more space and attract less attention than regular limos or other stretched vehicles. Inside, depending on the service to be provided, they may offer simple, comfortable transportation, all out luxury, or a combination of both.

Bottom line is that New York limo service is not just limos anymore. It's a range of luxury vehicle transportation suitable for anything from airport commute to business entertainment to sightseeing and special occasions like weddings or anniversaries. So treat yourself, your customers, your friends and your business associates to something special!

Natural joint support products

Everyone old enough to walk appreciates the value of flexibility and ease of movement. Unfortunately many of us take such good things for granted. A famous folksinger sang, "You don't know what you've got till it's gone." That's certainly true for millions Americans who live with stiff and uncomfortable joints.

Fortunately there are a number of nutrients available that provide the vital components of healthy joint structure and function and ease of mobility. These nutrients are referred to as “chondroprotective agents,” and include glucosamine and chondroitin, which supply the raw material necessary to produce new cartilage, and may even help rebuild worn cartilage. Other chondroprotective nutrients and herbs, like Cetyl Myristoleate, MSM, and Boswellin, work synergistically with glucosamine and chondroitin and further support normal joint function.

To understand how chondroprotective agents work, one must first understand how joints work. The key element in human joints is articular cartilage, the shock-absorbing tissue that connects two bones together and allows pain-free movement. Articular cartilage is comprised of two different molecules, collagen and proteoglycans, with the remainder composed primarily of water (65-85%). Collagen, a protein that binds tissue together, provides elasticity. Proteoglycans, composed of sugars and protein, absorb water, which provides lubrication and resiliency, nature's shock absorber for your joints. Both compounds are produced by chondrocytes, caretaker cells responsible for the formation and maintenance of cartilage. A deficiency in any one of the above constituents will increase the likelihood of wear and tear on articular cartilage, which can eventually lead to compromised joint function. Glucosamine and chondroitin are safe, natural and effective nutrients that support healthy joint function by supplying the materials needed to produce collagen and proteoglycans.

Arnica Native to Europe and southern Russia, Arnica montana is a perennial plant with bright yellow, daisylike flowers. Some of its common names include leopard's bane, wolf's bane, and mountain tobacco. Arnica montana has a long history of use in herbal healing, as do other arnica species grown in the western part of North America. The dried flower heads and occasionally the underground stems and roots are the source of medicinal arnica.

• Muscle strains and sprains. Arnica is widely applied to ease the inflammation and pain of muscle strains and sprains caused by overuse or injury. Although results have been contradictory, some studies concluded that for a short period immediately following a marathon run, arnica reduced muscle soreness. The effect was only temporary, however.

• Arthritic joints. Inflamed and painful joints are said to benefit from arnica as well. Using the herb in a hot, moist compress may be helpful for arthritis pain, though it is not known whether it is simply the heat or the arnica that provides the relief.

• Psoriasis and eczema. Numerous herbal formulas for these persistent skin disorders contain extracts of arnica, which may help given its anti-inflammatory and numbing qualities.

• Insect bites. Because of its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects, topical arnica is believed to reduce the swelling and pain caused by insect bites. It may also help prevent infection.

Celadrin is a medically and clinically proven pain management compound developed through a proprietary process of esterifying oils. Celadrin is a novel, all natural ingredient which has been medically shown to reduce inflammation and pain with no side effects. Celadrin systematically enhances and lubricates cell membranes throughout the body providing youthful cell fluidity and elasticity. This includes the enhancement of fluids that cushions your bones and joints to maintain flexibility and mobility so that you can move with ease and pain free. Celadrin has been proven to provide cumulative (continuous and restorative) benefit. In a double blind clinical trial, oral Celadrin showed significant benefit beyond the arthritic medication the subjects were taking – with cumulative improvement shown throughout the study.

Chondroitin sulfate consists of repeating chains of molecules called glycosaminoglycans (GAGs). Chondroitin sulfate is a major constituent of cartilage, providing structure, holding water and nutrients, and allowing other molecules to move through cartilage—an important property, as there is no blood supply to cartilage. The only significant food source of chondroitin sulfate is animal cartilage.

Glucosamine is composed of glucose (a sugar) and glutamine (an amino acid). It is utilized by chondrocytes to form glycosaminoglycans (GSG) and proteoglycans (PG). Both of these constituents attract and bind water into cartilage, increasing resiliency. Research indicates that glucosamine may actually help your body repair damaged or eroded cartilage. A number of studies have been conducted on glucosamine sulfate and glucosamine hydrochloride, with a preponderance of positive results. Glucosamine sulfate is considered the more effective of the two.

For a long time, glucosamine dominated the market among supplements used to ease joint pain. Now, many practitioners prefer to use a combination of both glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate. Many have found this combination to be effective, particularly for runners, who tend to develop problems with their knees. Glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate are well absorbed by the molecules that make up cartilage. They are not available from food. It is not uncommon to have to take these supplements indefinitely to continue to experience relief.

MSM Methyl-sulfonyl-methane is a naturally occurring sulfur compound found in our bodies as well as in many common beverages and foods, including milk, coffee, tea and green vegetables. In its purified chemical form, it is an odorless, essentially tasteless, white, water-soluble crystalline solid. It is one of the safest substances in biology, similar in toxicity to water.

Recent research has shown that the results of arthroscopic surgery for osteoarthritis in the knee is no different than that of placebo. This gives people further reason to at least give supplements, such as chondroitin sulfate, a try before enduring more invasive, expensive approaches.

Benefits of Joint Support Formulas

• helps rebuild and repair worn cartilage

• support healthy joint function by supplying the materials needed to produce collagen and proteoglycans

• eases joint pain

Term life insurance - save money the smart way

:
Term life insurance is the easiest type of life insurance to understand. To put it simply, the insured person pays a minimal premium per thousand dollars of coverage on an annual, semi annual, quarterly or monthly basis. If he or she dies within the term of the policy, the life insurance company will pay the beneficiary the face value of the policy.

Distinctive Features of Term Life Insurance

To better understand some of the distinctive features of term life insurance consider the following points:

First, term life insurance is "pure insurance" because when you purchase a term insurance policy you are only buying a "death benefit". Unlike with other types of "permanent insurance" such as whole life, universal life, and variable universal life, there is no additional cash value built up with this kind of policy. Term insurance only gives you a specific death benefit.

Second, the coverage is for a defined period of time (the "term") such as 1 year, 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, and so on. Once the policy is in force, it only remains in force until the end of the term -- assuming you pay the premiums, of course.

Third, most term insurance policies are renewable at the end of the term. With what is known as "Level Term Life Insurance", the death benefit remains the same throughout the term of the policy, but since the insured person is getting older, the premium will gradually increase. As time goes by the cost of a level term insurance policy may become greater than you are willing to pay for a simple death benefit. An alternative is the "Decreasing Term Life Insurance" policy in which the premium remains the same, but the death benefit goes down as time goes by.

Fourth, most term policies can be converted to permanent policies within a specific number of years. If you decide it is important to retain the insurance coverage, converting may be something you should plan for. You can anticipate the accelerating cost of term insurance premiums and convert your policy before the premiums become prohibitively high. It is true that in the short term the premium will usually be higher than if you stayed with the term policy. But over the long term this difference will decrease because of the rapid acceleration of the term insurance premium as you get older. A permanent policy also accumulates cash value which increases the total death benefit paid to your beneficiary.

Popular Uses of Term Life Insurance

Term life insurance is most appropriate whenever you want to protect your beneficiaries from a sudden financial burden as the result of your death. Here are some of the most common uses of term life insurance.

Personal Costs Due to Death - When a spouse or family member dies there will be immediate costs. Many people purchase a relatively small term life insurance policy to cover these costs.

Mortgage Insurance - Banks and financial institutions often insist that mortgage holders retain a term life insurance policy sufficient to pay out their mortgage. Such policies make the bank the beneficiary of the policy. If the mortgage holder should happen to die before the mortgage is paid off, the insurance policy will pay it out. This is also a great benefit to a spouse whose earning power will likely be decreased due to the death of his or her partner.

Business Partner Insurance - Term insurance is also used by business people to cover outstanding loans with their bank, or to purchase a deceased partner's shares on death, if they had an agreement to do so. Most partnerships have an agreement of this sort, and the policy premiums are paid by the business.

Key Person Insurance - When a company loses key individuals due to death, this can often result in hardship to the company. Key person insurance is purchased by the company for any individual it deems to be "key". The company itself is made the beneficiary of the policy. So when a "key" person dies, the company receives a cash injection to handle the problems associated with replacing that person.

Getting a Term Life Insurance Quote

Here are some things to look for when getting a quote for term life insurance:

1. The cheapest rate today will not be the cheapest rate tomorrow. For instance, the cheapest premium today will likely be for a Yearly Renewable Term policy. This policy is renewed every year at which time your premium is also adjusted upwards. This is fine if you intend to convert to a longer term solution (permanent insurance) in a year or two, or if you have a very short term requirement for insurance. But if you think you will need this insurance for a longer period, you would be better to commit to something like a Ten Year Term Policy. This locks your premium and death benefit in for ten years. Your rates will not increase until you renew.

2. Compare coverage and premium projections for different policies. Think about the long term and get the coverage that saves you money in the long run.

3. Make sure you completely understand the conversion options built into the different policies you are considering. Most policies will let you convert part or all of your term insurance into permanent insurance within a specific period of time, and without the need of a medical examination.

4. For some situations you should consider options such as Decreasing Term Life Insurance in which the death benefit decreases as time goes by. This makes sense if the policy is being used to cover a mortgage or business loan.

Term life insurance is not the answer to all life insurance requirements, but it should be part of a sound plan for every person's financial future.

Three types of insurance you do not need

Insurance is generally something that you purchase in order to protect you and your family from the potential financial loss caused by a catastrophic event or serious illness.

But there are types of insurance that don't really provide that peace of mind for you, that are not required, that cost more than you could ever benefit from, and that are best avoided.

Here are 3 types of insurance that you can "just say NO" to.

Life Insurance Sold By Credit Card Companies

Credit card companies will offer you insurance that pays off your credit card balances when you die. If you already have a life insurance policy, either obtained on your own or through your employer, that will do the same thing. Why pay the credit card companies a much higher premium for the same thing?

Rental Car Insurance

When you rent a car, they always ask you if you want auto insurance which will cover you if you are in an accident in the rental car. If you have your own auto insurance, you will most likely not need this. Check with your agent to be sure, but most policies cover you regardless of what car you are driving. Even if your regular policy only offers this coverage by adding a "rider" to your policy, the cost of the rider will most likely be much cheaper than paying the higher per-day charge that the rental agency will charge you.

There are a couple of exceptions to note. If the car rental is for business use, check to see if your employer's business policy covers you. And if you will be driving outside of the US, your agent can tell you if you will require special coverage.

Unreasonably Low Deductibles

While this is not technically a "type" of insurance, it is an insurance expense that you can do without. A lot of people carry lower deductibles because of the peace of mind it gives them. But how many times do you really need this lower deductible? And nowadays, while you may be required to carry insurance, it is often detrimental if you actually use it!

So if filing a claim will jeopardize your insurance coverage, you may want to only file a claim that you really can't handle. It makes much more sense to raise your deductible and "self-insure" for the smaller claims, using the savings from your lower premiums.

If you decide to increase your deductibles, be sure to put your saved premium dollars into a savings account so that you can pay for those losses that fall below your increased deductible amount.

Specialty-type coverages, like the ones mentioned here, can usually be covered with another good broad-based policy that you already have. And why are these speciality insurance polices more expensive? It costs more for the insurance companies to administer these policies ... so guess who ends up paying for the extra costs?!

Stress and work life balance

Technically stress is the adverse reaction an individual has to excessive pressure or other types of demand placed on them. In the workplace, the negative, damaging, effects of stress can arise at times when pressures are extreme, such as peak busy periods, but equally can be caused by continuous exposure to stressful conditions, such as being in an unsuitable job or being treated unfairly. Outside work, negative stress can be caused by major change events, such as a death in the family, but equally by continuous pressure of having a life constrained or dominated by the work situation.

Stress is personal in that stress affects individuals in different ways. In similar situations or conditions some people cope, even thrive, on the pressure, whilst others find it difficult to cope and suffer negative stress as a result. It is also personal in the sense that the amount of control that the individual has, over their workplace conditions, events, and work-life balance, will influence the amount of negative stress that they suffer from. Those individuals with greater control will tolerate and manage stress levels, or avoid them altogether, more successfully.

Work-life balance is, literally, balancing the demands, the amount of time and effort, given to work and the workplace, and that given to the individual’s domestic, personal, family, and social life. A vital factor in achieving an appropriate work-life balance is ensuring that the work element does not dominate, and-or that it is not causing damage to the individual through the effects of negative stress. It is most unusual to find people with a work-life balance that is dominated negatively by their life outside the workplace. It is almost always the workplace activity that dominates and often negatively. For professionals undertaking personal and career development activities, the positive activity of personal development must be actively managed in order to ensure that it does not have a negative effect on stress levels and cause damage to the individual’s work-life balance.

The increased awareness of the importance of managing stress and work-life balance effectively has given rise to approaches such as time management, managing stress, achieving work-life balance, managing personal development, and related approaches such as coaching and mentoring. The tools and techniques within these approaches are valuable in helping individuals to manage stress and work-life balance more successfully. All of these are worth exploring in more depth. However, here we will focus on simple, well established actions that any individual can take themselves.

There are some well established, simple to implement, approaches that will help to reduce the effects of negative stress and help to maintain an appropriate work-life balance. These include: Recognising the symptoms that will alert you to the fact that you may be under stress. Commonly experienced symptoms are: Poor health - headaches, upset stomach, sleep problems, change in appetite, tense muscles, indigestion, exhaustion, stomach, intestinal and skin problems, and heart attacks (extreme but not uncommon in severe cases); Personal behaviour - constantly worrying, irritated, feeling depressed, unable to cope and make decisions, being less creative, excessive smoking, excessive use of alcohol, not sleeping; Unsatisfactory work situation - low job satisfaction, poor relationships with colleagues, focusing on unproductive tasks, deadlines missed, performance level falling, opportunities missed, poor appraisal outcomes, feeling de-motivated; Personal life:stopping social activities, being irritated and argumentative with family and friends, personal relationships deteriorating.

Many of these symptoms can be experienced in normal life, but become symptoms of stress when several are experienced at the same time, or when there is no obvious cause, or when one or more symptom becomes overwhelming. We need to remember, however, that whilst the symptoms often are more visible, and potentially damaging, in the workplace, they are not necessarily caused by workplace pressures. Many are, but not all and not always.

Identifying the sources in the workplace: As individuals working in a business world that is continuously changing at an ever-increasing pace, we need to be adaptable and flexible. In order to avoid negative stress we need to be aware of, prepared for, and able to manage, the impact of: time pressures; demanding deadlines; increasing complex relationships with others; peaks and troughs of too much or too little work; multiple, overlapping business or work changes; threats of redundancy or unwanted job change; pressure from senior managers; unfair or discriminatory actions of management; travel pressures; increases in performance expectations; more visible scrutiny through technology and surveillance; requirements to undertake continuous personal professional development activities.

Identifying the sources in life outside work: Outside the workplace there are regularly occurring events and pressures that are a normal part of our lives, but which can be either a source of stress, or satisfaction, or both. These include: death of friend or family member; a relationship breakdown leading to separation or divorce; personal or family member injury; moving house; taking on large financial commitments such as for a mortgage; holiday periods where personal relationships are refreshed and renewed, or put under intense pressure; giving up a habit such as smoking; the birth of a child; getting married; and so on.

Knowing what your natural response will be: Individuals adapt and adjust to external pressures in different ways, depending on their personality type. The range of types is very wide, but two broad bands of personality type have been identified. Type "A" people are described as competitive, aggressive or hasty, whilst Type "B" people behave in a passive, non-competitive, slow to react way. Type "A" people tend to pass on stress to others, Type "B" tend to internalise the effects of stress. Whilst these are established, proven categories that most people fall into, other factors, such as age, gender, health, financial situation and access to support will strongly influence the response to causes of stress, regardless of personality traits. Knowing your personality type can be helpful, but can only play a small part in managing stress successfully.

Identifying strategies and actions that will help you to cope: As we have seen, individuals react differently to stress, so each of us will need to adopt different coping strategies. The following are well established, proven actions and strategies for managing stress and achieving work-life balance: be aware of your own weakness and strengths; understanding and accepting that certain things cannot be avoided or changed; taking action to reduce or remove the pressure; breaking down problems into smaller parts and setting targets to tackle each part in sequence; implementing personal time management techniques; replacing negative relationships with positive, supportive relationships; adopting a healthy living style; develop outside work interests, such as hobby, educational, social or sporting activity; undertaking positive professional career development activity; seeking advice and support from others, including professionals if appropriate; accepting that managing stress and work-life balance is a permanent continuous activity.

Corporate support mechanisms: Some organisations have recognised that stress and work-life balance are issues that need to be supported by corporate action. Individuals in these organisations should, where appropriate, take advantage of support mechanisms such as: Flexible working hours: allowing employees to organise working hours to accommodate important aspects of their home lives; Self managed teams:where teams work out their own hours, responding to each others’ needs; Using a buddy system:pairing with a colleague to provide cover for each other, enabling each to take time off when necessary, knowing that their buddy will take over their duties and responsibilities; Flexible locations:working from different locations, or from home, either regularly or occasionally, to help with family responsibilities and reduce or eliminate commuting time; Special leave availability: such as paid or unpaid leave, to give time to cope with personal crises and emergencies, without using formal holiday allowance; Career breaks:for study or research sabbaticals, travel, family commitments, or voluntary work; Health programmes - offer counselling and advice, for a range of issues; Private health insurance; Fitness programmes and gymnasium membership subsidies; Childcare/eldercare facilities or subsidies:workplace nursery or subsidised places in local nurseries or nursing homes. All of these are highly valuable support opportunities, which, if available, should be taken when needed.

For most managers and specialists, in all sectors of business today it is an essential requirement, that professionals undertake courses in management development, or in specialist disciplines such as quality management, project management, accountancy, human resources, or marketing. The objective of this activity, from the individual’s point of view, is usually to obtain higher financial rewards, higher status, increased job security, and-or to increased opportunities and career choice. From the organisation’s point of view it is rightly aimed at improving the knowledge, understanding, skills, and ultimately the performance of the individual and the workforce collectively. The impact on the individual, regardless of these contrasting objectives, is that work-life balance is affected, pressure will rise and will need to be managed to avoid this resulting in negative stress. For any individual undertaking professional development activity, especially those studying at home, in part or in full, it is essential that this is recognised as a potential source of negative stress, and that the individual builds the monitoring and control of this pressure into their development plans.

In order to manage stress and to achieve a satisfactory work-life balance, it is necessary to avoid the most common pitfalls that professionals encounter. These include: Believing that suffering from stress is a weakness, it is not, but positive, corrective action is needed to redress the situation. Allowing yourself to suffer from stress and an out of balance work-life equilibrium, when simple, easy to apply solutions are at hand, is a weakness; Keeping stress to yourself is the best approach, it is not. All the evidence shows that seeking advice and support is the key to reducing and eliminating negative stress and restoring an appropriate work-life balance; Assuming that others are to blame for your stress and the imbalance between your work and your outside work life, they may be the causes, but you are responsible for allowing the negative situation to continue; Cutting back or eliminating social, sporting, or personal interests activity is the answer to restoring a work-life balance, it is not, because these are essential positive elements necessary to achieve a healthy work-life balance and a relatively stress free life; Ignoring the warning signs, these are easy to identify, if not by you then others will see them; Not identifying the sources of stress and reasons for imbalance, a simple analysis of your situation, perhaps with some help from a professional advisor, colleague, partner, or friend, will identify the main causes of your problems; Not looking after yourself in terms of health and happiness, if you are unhealthy, unfit, or in an unhappy relationship, or not in any relationship and are lonely and isolated, you will find it difficult to manage stress and your work-life balance effectively; Believing that there is a single solution to your negative stress and work-life imbalance problems, there is not. You need to take a holistic approach to managing your life, at work, at home, and socially. This encompasses your work, your aspirations, your personal development, your fitness, your lifestyle, your health, your relationships, your general attitude to life, everything that makes you an individual, a unique person.

This has been a first look at the links between workplace stress and work-life balance, and has been specifically aimed at those professionals who are adding to the pressures of workplace and home life by taking on professional development activities. Continuous personal professional development, for managers, professionals, and specialists, in all sectors is essential. Even entrepreneurs and those leaving organisations to be self-employed risk being overwhelmed by workload and pressures from work-related activities. The solution to avoiding the negative effects of stress, and maintaining an appropriate work-life balance, when taking on additional personal development workload, are the same for those in organisations. You will need to be aware of the dangers, be alert to the symptoms, put in place defensive mechanisms, and then pro-actively manage your work life and personal life in a way that protects you from the dangers of negative stress and enables you to maintain a healthy and satisfying work-life balance.

Make it through to payday with a uk secured loan

Ever see rats in a maze? They do all that work for a piece of cheese.

That’s how it feels like sometimes to work, doesn’t it? It sure does! We run around trying to keep our bosses happy and our coworkers happy and our customers happy, but the reason why do all that is to get a piece of cheese at the end of the day! It sound crazy. There’s rarely time to make ourselves happy. And if you’ve been working for even a few years, you know that prices seem to rise faster than our paychecks!

Thing are expensive and it can be difficult to make it from one payday to the next. How do you do it each and every week? One good way to help is with a UK Secured Loan.

UK Secured Loans are a great way to get the money you need… when you need it. If you have some kind of asset that you can use as a form of collateral, you’ll probably qualify to get a UK Secured Loan. Here’s why they’re so good!

Easy to get! All you need is some kind of security to put up as a form of collateral against the loan. Everyone has assets and most people have more assets than they realize. You can leverage those assets to get the loan you need: how much you need, when you need, and for as long as you need it!

Great terms! Because you’re providing a form of surety against the loan, you’ll have greater flexibility to with the interest rate and repayment terms available! Banks take a risk when they loan out money and they are much more eager to loan out money to someone who is providing a guarantee that they’ll pay it back! That means, with a UK Secured Loan, you’ll likely get a lower interest rate than an unsecured loan, and you’ll probably have much longer to pay it back, too! When it comes to loans, a secured loan is one of the best choices, because it works to the borrower’s advantage!

More money! Depending on your assets, you may be able to get more money than you realized you could get with just a regular loan! And more money means being able to afford just a little bit more!!!

Your dreams will come true! Not everyone has the spare cash they need to get what they want and need. In fact, that describes most people! That’s why a UK Secured Loan simply makes sense. It helps you get the things you need when you need them!

Need help making it to payday? A UK Secured Loan may help you get it!

Curious do a bible search

As a seminary student, I am always looking for more information about the Bible. As I study to become a pastor for other people, it is extremely important that I learn all I can about the Bible and that I utilize all of the resources that are available to me. I had never heard of a Bible search until recently, but doing them has radically changed my ability to learn and process information about the Bible.

What I love about studying the Bible is that I am always curious and hungry to learn more. I am a firm believer that people should spend their lives doing things of value that they deeply enjoy. So when the change came for me to further my education with seminary I jumped at it. Just a few months into my classes, the Bible search tools that I have been taught have by far been the most valuable source of new knowledge that I have discovered.

Are you curious to learn more about the Bible? Perhaps you are taking a Bible class or are just wanting to learn for your own benefit. It doesn't matter why you want to know more, it simply matters that you can know more by doing a Bible search or two on the information you are seeking. I love that a Bible search can both satisfy my curiousity and yet leave me desiring more knowledge. What a great thing!

A Bible search can happen in many ways. There are many great tools to be used, but by far some of the best can be found in libraries, at bookshops, or even on the internet. Basically, a Bible search is done whenever a learner uses tools to try to gain more knowledge about a particular passage or theme in Scripture. The Bible search doesn't have to be official, it simply has to be helpful in teaching you more about the Bible.

If you are curious about learning more about a Bible search tool or two, find someone to talk with. This may mean talking with a pastor or setting up a time to meet with a Bible professor at a local college. Do whatever you can to be proactive about doing a Bible search to do more. You will be so glad that you did and the knowledge you learn will be the most helpful thing in the world for you and your future.

Nursing school students is an online degree the right choice for you

Prospective nursing school students, are you considering an online nursing degree as one of your options? Well, we've got good news and bad news for you.

You can already imagine the many advantages of online courses: setting up a schedule that's convenient for you, no commute, no parking hassles, saving on gas money or public transportation costs, and being able to work and go to school at the same time.

However, it is not possible to get every type of degree online - and there is no such thing as a Licensed Practical Nursing Degree or Associate's Degree in nursing that can be obtained entirely online. This is for good reason: one of the most vital components of a nursing student's education is to gain practical real world experience in a hospital or other medical setting, under the observation and direction of a registered nurse.

To our knowledge, there is only one nursing school program in the country which allows its students to complete even the majority of their course study online to get an R. N. degree - the Online Accelerated Nursing Program at the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh. It is intended for people who already have a bachelor's degree. The school's online program accepts only a very limited number of students. You must have numerous prerequisite courses completed, and have excellent grades in those courses, before you can even apply. Many states do not offer the clinicals that students must take, under the supervision of an RN, in order to complete the course, so students who live in those states can't take the program. Also students must go to the Oshkosh campus several times in order to do clinicals and take various tests there.

So what kind of nursing degree can you get online?

After taking a one-year course at a community college, vocational school, or private career college, to become a Licensed Practical Nurse, and after getting licensed as a practical nurse, there are many online LPN to RN programs, and they are becoming more popular as the demand for registered nurses grows greater.

There are also online paramedic-to-RN courses, and there are online respiratory therapist-to-RN courses.

In all three of these cases, it is vitally important to contact your state Board of Nursing to make sure that they accredit the school that is offering the online degree.

If they don't, then even if you successfully complete the course, you can not take the NCLEX-RN and work as a nurse in your state. Some states will accept online LPN to RN programs, but not other types of online nursing programs. Some states will accept certain schools' online LPN to RN degree programs, but not other schools.

There are also online LPN to Bachelor's Degree of Science in nursing programs, online RN to Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing Programs, online Master's Degree in Nursing Programs...so there is a lot that can be accomplished with online nursing schools. However, you can not get all of your nursing training online, and that's actually a good thing. Think about it. Would you want to be cared for and have your life in the hands of a nurse whose only training was online?

Deer hunting on the move stillhunting for deer or get off the stump

:
Deer hunting on the move, or stillhunting, is commonly misunderstood as to what it is and how to go about it. It is stalking deer, not waiting on a stump or in a blind for the deer to come to you. It can be the most rewarding deer hunting experience you can do. It can also be the most frustrating, since it is a skill which requires you to slow everything everything - your sight, your breath and your walking gait. But the payoffs go beyond the hunt to your better enjoyment of nature itself.

This article will talk about some things I've learned while hunting deer in the Vermont woods and oak mast ridges of Wisconsin. These few simple techniques can be used on your next hunt - whether you choose to stillhunt or not, the principles are the same. These techniques will also make your deer hunt a richer experience. It's all about: you're outdoors - enjoy the scenery, hunting or not.

Generally, as deer hunters, we think of one thing when we hunt, and that is deer. Not deer in general, but that deer. We are aided in this compulsion by our brains, and our eyes. Let's talk about eyes first.

Hunt Deer with Soft Focus – See Them as They See You

We see as all predators do - forward, and tightly focussed. Take a look at your average housecat and watch it stalk something. It pursues its object with its eyes narrowed and every muscle relaxed, yet steeled at a moment's notice to pounce. We share with the cat and all predators having our eyes in the front of our head, designed to focus on a single thing.

However, deer, and all prey species, have eyes designed to detect motion. Deer and all prey species have eyes on the side of their head, and this aids in perceiving motion first, long before the animal can make out whether what they see is a threat, or just some pattern-breaking motion in the woods. When stillhunting for deer, we must adopt to the way they see. We must see motion first, patterns out of sync second, and the deer last. The only way to do this is to relax our focus and broaden our field of vision.

Here's how to practice. Stand facing a wall, about six to eight feet away from it. Stare hard at a spot on the wall. Raise your arms, index fingers extended, fully out to the side from your head (and slightly behind). Now, keeping your arms straight and your index fingers extended, bring your arms slowly in front of your face. Notice the moment when your fingers come into view - this is your field of vision (FOV).

Now, turn to the wall again. This time, soften your focus so that your eyes, while seeing objects or spots on the wall, do not lock on any one spot. Repeat the index-finger practice. You should see your fingers enter your FOV much earlier than before. It is this type of sight - gained through practice, for it isn't natural to us anymore - that allows us to see changes in woods patterns, motion - in short, to see deer out in the distance, possibly before they see us.
Now, onto walking.

Walk Toe-Heel, not Heel-Toe

You see it all the time - the hunter walking through the woods as if he's hunting on rice paper.

It doesn't work. As a hunter, you're going to make noise. But then, so do deer and other game. So does anything living and breathing in the woods. What you want to avoid is making the rhythmic gait a hunter makes when he's running, usually after a deer, or doing everything he can to be quiet, when he doesn't yet see one.

Walking toe-heel is the way to walk, because the palm of your foot can be more flexible in its response to the softwood twigs and deadfall underfoot - like deer, whose hooves make relatively light contact with the forest floor. Walking heel-toe makes for a heavy, stiff step - a human step. Walking heel toe, take a few steps, pause, and, using the soft-focus described above, take in the environment, in a holistic way. Above all else, if you find yourself entering in to a steady, rhythmic gait, break it up. You also want to avoid any obviously human sounds sounds coming from anything man-made, such as metal or hard plastic. Bottom line - brushing past an oak stump is o. k. Marching in cadence is not, nor is that canteen banging against your hunting rifle strap buckle.

Know the Wind

Finally, walk into the wind. Yes, this is rule 1. But many hunters, especially those used to staying in a relatively insulated hunting blind, forget this cardinal rule. I've stood with my bow drawn on a buck 10 yards away, with the buck clearly trying to figure out what the heck this would-be rambo was up to - only to watch it spring to life once the wind shifts, and thanksgiving was a bit - thinner that year.

Don't even bother still hunting on blustery days, with no prevailing winds.
The bottom line, when you are hunting deer in this way, is to get used to is slowing yourself down, for hours at a time, and softening your focus to "deer hunt" for motion - not deer.

But act like, see like, deer, become more a part of where you are, and you will reap many rewards - whether you take a deer or not.

Great comfort with reclining chairs

:
Reclining chairs are the ultimate in comfort and style. Not only do they add oomph and style to the living room but at the same time they are comfortable too. Reclining chairs are designed in a specific way to provide maximum support to the lower and upper back and offer you the most comfortable sitting position.
The best part of reclining chairs is that a person can sit for hours on it without feeling even a slight discomfort.

Apart from general comfort, reclining chairs are especially beneficial to:
• People with disabilities like arthritis as they may not feel comfortable seating on - typical chairs.
• Pregnant women.
• People with very short height.

There are many types and styles of reclining chairs available in shops and online furniture stores. Each chair has its own distinct feature and reclining capacity. Some recliners have two or three reclining positions while others have infinite number of positions.

Recliner with two positions

A recliner that has two positions reclines to an approximately 45-degree angle. They are good and comfortable for seating purpose but not a good option in case you are thinking of having a nap on them. Such two position recline chairs are fully motorized and all the functions are controlled by using hand controls.

Recliner with three-positions

Three-position chairs enable you to adjust to any angle in order to provide you the maximum comfort. You can almost lie flat on them. Just like two-position chairs they too are motorized and the control for all the functions is in your hands.

Recliner with infinite positions

Chairs with infinite positions consist of two motors rather than just one. Unlike the two-or three-position chairs the footrest operates independently. Infinite-position chairs enable you to manipulate the footrest independently from the chair. Hence you can have your back at a 90-degree angle, and at the same time have your feet raised as well. These chairs are perfect for a sound sleep.

Various styles of reclining chairs are:

Swivel Recliner Chairs- A swivel recliner chair rotates through 360o and comes with a separate footstool. It is the ultimate in style as well as comfort. They are ideal for living rooms having plenty of space.

Reclining Armchairs- A reclining chair is simple and a great way to unwind and relax after a hard day’s work.

Massage Recliner Chairs- As the name suggests, massage recliners are meant to provide you relaxation by massaging your body. Massage recliners are extremely beneficial for body, health and fitness.

Riser Recliner Chairs- These chairs have the comfort of a recliner armchair combined with the electric riser reclining action. They allow you to have total control and mobility.

While buying a reclining chair the most important to keep in mind is comfort and the reclining capacity. Of course, colors and material coverings also matter. Leather reclining chair is more practical than chairs made up of other fabrics since their wear and tear rate is low and leather is also easier to clean.

You can find affordable reclining chairs online to suit your tastes, in a large choice of fabric and leather options. And not just reclining chairs but you can also find dining room chairs, reception chairs, stools and folding chairs in a wide range of variety online.

Where to go for digital photo camera shopping

Because a digital photo camera can be an expensive item to purchase for recreational use, people take considerable steps to find out where to go digital photo camera shopping. There are local retailers that are located in mass merchandising stores, where the sales representatives only know the basic features about some of the digital photo cameras that the store sells on a regular basis.

These prospective shoppers of digital photo camera devices might decide on where to go digital photo camera shopping by seeking out the professional advice of photograph developer that is right down the street from his business location. These photographic technicians might be unable to help you.

They might be unaware of the different types of digital cameras on the market today. Their digital camera equipment is commercial sized, and not the kind that you could put in your shirt pocket or carry along in a camera bag. They might, however, be able to direct you with a local retailer that is fluent in all phases of digital camera operations.

To learn about where to go digital photo camera shopping, people will usually choose to self-educate themselves on digital cameras. They visit information websites that have online course that are free of charge, and find out all of the operating functions of a digital camera and the accessories that are available for it, before they try to find out where to go digital photo camera shopping anywhere else in town.

Other people like to research digital photo cameras thoroughly and read reviews that are created by other digital photo camera owners. Not only will these people be able to discuss many pros and cons about the digital photo camera, and the accessories that they recently purchased, but they might also tell you in the review where to go digital photo camera shopping.

More and more, people are being guided to buy digital photo cameras by people who have already purchased and used a certain type of digital photo camera. Based on their comments, people know where to go digital photo camera shopping and find hard-to-find accessories that are no longer stocked at many major retail shops.

Through Internet marketing campaigns, they might know where to go digital camera shopping and have a discount coupon to use that they received in the mail from these Internet marketing companies. Membership benefits newsletters from discount shopping clubs might inform their members through information contained in their newsletters, where to go digital photo camera shopping and get a membership shopping club discount at the same time with a certain retailer.

The magnificence of the bmw motorcycle

Ever since 1932 BMW has been making motorcycles that fall in the high-end class and that are regarded as being amongst the highest quality motorcycles.

They are known for excellence and for providing some of the most enjoyable motorcycle rides around.

BMW first introduced the R32 BMW motorcycle in 1932 and have been developing that particular style of motorcycle into something that has fan clubs all over the world.

This first BMW motorcycle had a peculiar engine, known as the "boxer twin" engine. It was designed for air cooling and its two cylinders protruded from opposite sides of the motorcycle.

Later during the BMW motorcycle development they also developed more traditional four cylinder motorcycle models.

Not only did BMW manufacture road bikes, they also branched out into off-road motorcycles and have made a name for themselves there as well.

Apart from the association with quality through the BMW logo and name, BMW motorcycles also attract loyal fans because the motorcycles give comfortable rides without sacrificing sportiness and performance.

Apart from some of its off-road models, the BMW motorcycle generally is a big motorcycle. However, drivers of these motorcycles will tell you that they handle like a dream.

Today they are four different series of BMW motorcycles. These are the F, G, R, and K series.

The F series has a four stroke, four valve engine and has a chain drive to the back wheel. The G series is an off-road motorcycle that BMW developed in conjunction with Aprilia. The R series motorcycles still have their trademark protruding cylinder heads but they have been improved upon over earlier models. The K series has also been developed into a motorcycle technological wonder. Both the R and K motorcycle series come with powerful engines that can drive a small car.

If comfort, style, technology, and stylishness appeal to you in motorcycles, then the BMW motorcycle will definitely be on your shopping list. On the one hand they come with a high price tag, but on the other hand you know that you are buying BMW quality, comfort, and style.

Flowers moss and salt and pepper

When I was a young apprentice oasis foam was a new idea and the traditional method of using sphagnum moss and wire fro funeral tributes was used. As a trainee part of the day was spent mossing which meant attaching the moss with twine or wire to metal frames there were the standard wreath hearts cushions and letters but you could obtain any shape you liked. In Covent garden flower market in London a very talented man would work with wires and soldering iron to create any shape requested I would watch mesmerised as aeroplanes ships and even animals would be produced nothing seemed impossible. Back at the shop the frames would be packed with moss and there trained florist would attach the flowers using stub wires.

It was also part of my duty to serve the customers one regular client was a lovely elderly Irish lady. She has always remained in my memory as she had a rather strange ritual she would choose her flowers and as we prepared to wrap them for her she would remove a small silver salt and pepper pot set from her handbag and would sprinkle the flowers with both condiments before she left the shop. As a junior I found this absolutely hilarious and hard to keep a straight face but was warned by my boss never to ask questions. I would love to find out why she did this and if anyone knows why it would answer a thirty year mystery.

This husband is stalking his wife

Each week Burrel Lee Wilks III writes a column in his free weekly newsletter--The Burrel Report--answering questions readers send in, and giving other readers a chance to share their point of view too. Over the next few weeks Burrel has agreed to share his advice with you. Keep an eye open for Burrel and his unique style of "life coaching without sugarcoating" and don't be afraid to weigh in on the discussion. Send your comments to advice@burrelstreetwise. com

Question of the week: "I 'stalk' my wife..."

Q: Derrick L. Mansfield asks: "Why don't I trust my wife? Every time she leaves home, I feel like I have to trail her. I've even skipped work a day or two so's I can keep an eye on here without her knowing. I know it's irrational but I just can't help myself. She thinks we have the perfect relationship..."

A: Burrel says: "First off, who are you fooling Derrick? She doesn't think you have the perfect relationship. Why do guys always underestimate their women. I don't know what triggered this insecurity you have, but I'll keep it real Derrick, you need some help man. Look at you, like a second rate CIA agent dogging her footsteps! If you can't get things under control, talk to her honestly about what's on your mind, and get back on track, then I suggest you get some professional help. If you don't Derrick you're firmly on a path towards emotional self-destruction."

A: Betsy K. Oklahoma says: "I had a wildly jealous husband and he made my life a misery. He followed me constantly, sat outside my workplace, called all my friends--even questioned my boss one day. It destroyed our relationship, and eventually destroyed him too. Today he's a shadow of the man I met, just holding it together. My advice Derrick is understand that this is your problem, not hers. Speak to someone you can trust. Tackle this now before it kills your marriage too."

A: Joe K. St Louis says: "Whoa man. Cool it. Rather than stalk your missus you should probably be stalking yourself--find out who the heck you are."

A: Phillip J. Missouri says: "I bet she did something pretty bad to trigger this Derrick. Can't imagine you just getting a bee under your bonnet otherwise. If she did cheat on you once, then I don't blame you for trying to catch her out a second time. Still you gotta ask is she worth it? The worry, the missing work, docked pay and all that. Could be time to move on bro."

Life insurance - money saving top tips

More and more people are buying life insurance online and the numbers seem to be doubling every two years. The reasons are clear. Prices are lower on the Internet and life insurance is fundamentally a simple insurance product.

Despite the underlying simplicity of life insurance, most web sites channel their online clients through a telephone based help and advice service manned by experienced personnel. They represent your safety net so if a little technical knowledge is called for, help is at hand.

But it’s always a good idea to have a few Top Tips in your back pocket when you’re shopping online for life insurance. They’ll help you ask the right questions and find the best policy.

1. Always have your Life Insurance policy “Written in Trust”.

This means that in the event of a claim, the money goes directly and immediately to the person(s) you nominate when you first take the policy out. It also avoids all possibility of your estate having to pay Inheritance Tax on the proceeds of your policy and that could represent a 40% tax saving !

All you have to do is tell the online brokerage organising your policy that you want your policy “Written in Trust” and the names of the people who the life insurance company pay in the event of a claim. They will then sort it all out for you. The extra good news is that this service is invariably free of charge. So it’s a win win situation and there aren’t many of those around these days !

2. In the early years a Reviewable Life Insurance Policy will be cheaper but a Guaranteed Policy will work out a better buy in the longer term.

With a “Guaranteed Policy” the insurance company guarantees never to increase your policy’s premium.

With a “Reviewable Policy” you agree that your insurance company can review the cost of your policy at regular intervals. But don’t be kidded – in our experience a “review” is just another word for a price increase. After all, who’s ever heard of an insurance company passing up a chance to charge you more! The review intervals are usually between 2 to 5 years but this does vary between insurance companies. You will find the details of the review intervals on the documents sent to you before you accept the insurance – these are called The Key Features Documents.

So, comparing otherwise like for like policies, in the early years the premiums for a “Reviewable Policy” will undoubtedly be lower than the premiums for a “Guaranteed Policy”. Thereafter, the premiums for a Reviewable Policy increase eventually catching up with and overtaking, the premium for a “Guaranteed Policy”.

In our experience, you can expect the monthly premiums for a Reviewable Policy to exceed those of a Guaranteed policy in about 7 to 10 years and then within the following 10 years, more than double again. If your budget is currently tight then by all means choose a Reviewable Policy - after all your salary may increase in coming years and ease the strain. On the other hand, if the premiums for a Guaranteed Policy are affordable, we think they represent your best buy.

A footnote. Many insurance companies have stopped offering “Guaranteed” rates for standalone critical illness insurance policies. This because they have experienced much higher claim rates than they initially expected. However, you may still find a Guaranteed life insurance policy that also provides critical illness cover. As we have explained, “Guaranteed” rates are especially good value and if you can get a quote for a Guaranteed life policy that includes critical illness cover, you may have a real bargain.

3. Thinking about a Joint Life Insurance Policy?

A Joint Life Insurance policy is usually written on a first death basis. This means that the policy will pay out on the death of the first policyholder, subject to the policy being in force at the time. This leaves the second person uninsured and older. Older people can struggle to get life insurance at an affordable premium, so rather than a Joint Policy consider taking out separate policies now. Overall it will work out a little dearer - but you get twice the cover and double the peace of mind.

4. Taking out a Life Insurance Policy? Now would be an ideal time to include Critical Illness cover.

Are you likely to need Critical Illness Insurance in the future? Yes? Then consider adding it now to the life insurance policy you’re arranging. Why? There are three reasons.

Firstly, a Life Insurance policy combined with Critical Illness cover will work out significantly cheaper than buying two separate policies. Secondly, as we have already explained in the footnote to Tip 2, you may be able to buy a combined Life and Critical Illness policy with a guaranteed premium. That could be a real bargain. Finally, premiums for critical illness cover increase rapidly as you get older – so the sooner you take it out, the cheaper it will be.

5. Don’t confuse Terminal Illness cover with Critical Illness cover.

There’s world of difference between Terminal Illness and Critical Illness cover so it’s important to understand the difference.

Terminal Illness cover pays out the insured lump sum if a Medical Doctor diagnoses you with an illness from which the Doctor expects you to die within 12 months. Most good life policies automatically include Terminal Illness cover at no extra cost. It’s basically an early, and welcome policy payout.

A Critical Illness policy pays out the insured lump sum if you are diagnosed with one of a wide range chronic illness and there is no life expectancy criteria. Indeed, with many of the insured illnesses you could expect to survive for many years. For example: certain cancers, heart disease, stroke, multiple sclerosis, loss of speech, sight or hearing, onset of Parkinsons or Alzheimers disease, third degree burns etc. Say you were an engineer aged 40 and you lost your sight. A Critical Illness policy would pay out immediately and that money could well be vital in helping you and your family through many difficult financial years ahead. If you just had Terminal Illness cover there’d be no chance of a payout.

So as you can see, Critical Illness cover is far more comprehensive than simple Terminal Illness cover and for that reason critical illness cover always costs you extra.

Jake s own story

This is Jake's own story, as he sees his world!

I can’t remember much about my very young life, but my own story really started at around about 14 weeks, when this very nice couple came to where I was living, looking for a puppy. All I remember is sitting in the corner of the kennel, while four young lady puppies rushed over to say “Hello”. They were very pretty blue merle collie pups and I was just a plain old “black and white” Border collie. I was thinking to myself “No-one will ever want me” and was resigned to a lonely life in my corner. However, to my amazement, I was the puppy they picked up to hold.

“Right”, I thought… “I’m going to make the most of this and hope that they take me home with them”, so I snuggled in as tightly as I could and gave them a big wet kiss. That turned out to be a winning move on my part, because that's when my own story started for real and they took me home with them.

I was determined it would be a decision they would never regret and decided from that day on to be the best friend anyone could have asked for. When we arrived at the house, where my new “Mom and Dad” lived. I felt a bit lost sitting on the kitchen floor all by myself, with no other puppies around to play with. But as the months went by I became more accustomed to the surroundings and started to enjoy my little life.

“This is the place for me” I thought “There’s plenty of open space to run around in, shadows to chase and even things with feathers on that fly away when you get near”.

I did have a few hiccups though, when it became time to learn how to walk on one of those lead thingies… I wasn’t too keen at first! In fact I tried very hard not to give in, but as you can guess, I did!

As time passed, I had done everything from digging holes in the flowerbeds, helping with the “unplanting” of flowers and just managing to avoid falling into the fishpond, I reckoned my new life was going to be great.

When I was about…mmm!, let me think about this…ohhh! I guess I must have been about 12 months old, everything in the house was being packed away in boxes. “What’s goin’ on here?” I thought to myself “Which box is mine?”. It turned out my own story was about to continue from a new home near the coast...

What a great place that was. So many places to have a good old romp amongst the heather, plus there was this place called “the beach”. Wasn’t too sure about it at first, as I got my feet wet, which was something that I didn’t like at all (at first). But after going a few times, I began to realise that it wasn’t such a bad place. I could run and run and not really get anywhere, but that didn’t matter.

Then one day much to everyone’s surprise, I decided to be brave and charged off into the water... Yippee!, I’ve got more than my feet wet now. “Hey, this is fun” I thought “I can actually swim”. I looked forward to being taken to the beach more and more as time passed.

However, after a couple of years everything was being packed in boxes again. Here we again, I thought, where are we off too this time? Didn’t have long to wait. We moved to another house, but still near the sea.

I am nearly 6 years old now, (I think!) and I am sure I have been a constant source of amusement to “Mom and Dad” I reckon they have got a file full of photos and lots of fond memories... so far that is!

Life has been very good for me, so a great big wet-nosed thank-you to my “Mom and Dad” for picking me and taking me home with them that day. All I want to do now is to grow old with them, update my own story, from time to time and enjoy our lives together for many years to come...

Climate controls keep the temperature just right

Driving around in a vehicle that feels too cold or too warm for comfort is something that would make most people cringe and rather stay home or even try to rather walk or take public transportation. That is why it was a good thing that vehicle manufacturers and experts have come up with the climate control system so as to assist passengers and drivers as well during their journey.

The Land Rover brand has certainly been up to date with the changes and innovations in the automobile market. That is why this brand has made it possible for all the models in their vehicle line up are given Land Rover climate control systems. How does the Rover climate control system works? The Land Rover climate control system actually has been divided into two sides which are comprised of the high side and the low side. The compressor which actually begins at the high side functions and serves like a pump that moves the refrigerant through the system. As per the lower side, the expansion valve which actually begins on this side, restricts the refrigerant flow, and in the process, it lowers the pressure and the temperature of the refrigerant. By doing such functions, the Land Rover climate control system is able to keep the vehicle’s temperature just right on stormy and cold evenings or on hot and humid summer days.

It is important to note also that one should be able to understand how the controls of the Land Rover climate control system works. Basically, you could find three dials. Each of these dials stand for a specific purpose. There is one dial for temperature control. Another dial is for the fan speed. And the last one is there for ventilation controls, and ventilation controls includes the dash vents, the floor vents, the defrost vents or even a combination of any of those. These dials twist around so that you can actually set the right temperature and climate for your Land Rover vehicle. If you look closer, you could also find at the center of each of these dials are buttons that function for the air conditioning compressor, the cabin air recirculation, as well as the rear defrost. All these are part of the Land Rover climate control system.

If you are looking for the right kind of climate control for your Land Rover vehicle, shopping for them is quite easy. Discount Land Rover climate control parts and other Land Rover parts and accessories are available at Land Rover Parts and Range Rover Parts. This online store also holds performance or OEM replacement auto parts in its catalog. In stock are thousands of Land Rover climate control system parts and auto parts for all enthusiasts. I'm sure you have heard much Social Bookmarking. What is it exactly? When you list a site in your bookmark list, anyone looking for that same type of information can do a search at the bookmark site and find the sites that you have bookmarked. It is like a search engine without all the trash.

With Social Bookmarking. For Social Bookmarking: if you have a category on your browser for clothing and you come across a site you might well bookmark it and place it in that category. One of the other great features about these bookmarking sites is that your social bookmarks are with you wherever you go and not just on your own computer!.

While social bookmarking is a good hobby imagine if you could replace the website option with blogs?. There are many different types of online communities that you can join and most will help you get a certain amount of traffic to your site. Social bookmarking is a way of showing what interests you share with the rest of webkind.

According to del. icio. us your page goes on the front page (I've yet to see any of mine though) and also is filed away under sub-indexing using those all-important tags. If you have a site there are plenty of interesting tools that will help you make it easy for your visitors to bookmark your content. BookmarkingDemon is a good one. Check out trafficwebsecrets. com/socialbookmarking/bookmarking_demon. html.

But by organizing your bookmarks online; you can help yourself (getting organized/ getting my content exposed) and help others at the same time to finding great content. All social bookmarking sites have a list or cloud of the tags created by users - and each user has an individual page with his or her own tags. Social bookmarking sites also help you to meet other people who are interested in the same topics you are and who may also have knowledge of web resources that you don't. . Hypnotize yourself right now 10 steps to hypnotize yourself today

Hypnotize Yourself Right Now!

I want to show you a really interesting technique to hypnotize yourself. It is known as the Betty Erickson technique as she devised it to hypnotize yourself. Betty’s husband Milton Erickson is someone I have referred to on several occasions in my work as a renowned hynotherapist and psychiatrist and someone whose work seems to hypnotize me all the time. This technique to hypnotize yourself is entirely attributed to her.

Hypnotize Yourself Betty Erickson Method:

This method to hypnotize yourself is based on the following premises and ideologies. While there are a number of counter-examples to these notions, they will be of value in understanding and utilizing this method to hypnotize yourself.

We think our thoughts in pictures, sounds and feelings.

When we think in pictures we refer to the external things we see and the internal images that we create. This includes remembered images ("What does your bedroom look like?"), constructed images ("What would it look like if it were redecorated?"), as well as the actual, real things we see about us.

When we think in sounds these are the things we hear and the internal sounds that we create. This includes remembered words or sounds ("Think of your favourite pop song"), imagined words or sounds ("Imagine that song being sung by someone else"), and also includes your internal dialogue as well as all of the real, actual, live sounds around us.

Thirdly, are the things we feel. These can be actual physical sensations or imagined ones. Can you imagine being at the seaside and paddling in the cool sea?

Most of us use one of these ways of thinking more than the others; though we each use all three of them. Since this is usually the case, an individual who "thinks" in images wouldn't hypnotize themselves the best simply by visualising.

Focused Attention:

Stereotypical images of hypnotists holding watches or other fixation devices for clients to stare at are the result of much misunderstanding about hypnosis. I for one have long ago banished my velveteen smoking jacket and watch on a chain for more modern methods of hypnotic induction! The experience of hypnosis is typically an inwardly focused one in which we move away from the environment around us and turn our attention inward. This technique to hypnotize yourself is doing that even more.

Hypnotize Yourself Technique:

Step 1: Find a comfortable position and get your self relaxed and settled. Get into a position that you will be able to maintain easily for the time you are going to hypnotize yourself. It can be sitting or lying down, though sitting is recommended to prevent you from falling asleep. Get yourself centred, just looking in front of you and breathing slowly and easily. Let yourself relax.

Step 2: Think about the length of time that you intend to spend in this state and make a statement to yourself about it such as "I am going hypnotize myself for 20 minutes ... " (or however long you want) You will be delighted to discover how well you "internal clock" can keep track of the time for you.

Step 3: What would you like to get out of this? Make a statement to yourself about the reason you want to hypnotize yourself. In this process, you allow your unconscious mind to work on an issue rather than giving suggestions throughout, (that is another technique) so our purpose statement should reflect that fact. Here's how I recommend you phrase it to yourself : " I am going to hypnotize myself for the purpose of allowing my unconscious mind to make the adjustments that are appropriate to assist me in _____________."

Filling in the blank with what you want to achieve such as "developing more confidence in social situations." The actual words aren't nearly as important as the fact your statement acknowledges that you are turning this process over to your unconscious mind.

Step 4: Looking in front of you, notice three things, one at a time, that you see. Go slowly, pausing for a moment on each. It is preferable that they be small things, such as a spot on the wall, a doorknob, the corner of a picture frame, etc. Some people like to name the items as they look at them - "I see the hinge on the door frame".

Step 5: Now turn your attention to your auditory channel and notice, one by one, three things that you hear. (You will notice that this allows you to incorporate sounds that occur in the environment rather than being distracted by them.)

Step 6: Next, attend to your feelings and notice three sensations that you can feel right now. Again, go slowly from one to the next. It is useful to use sensations that usually are outside of your awareness, such as the weight of your glasses, the feeling of your wrist watch, the texture of your shirt on your body, etc.

Step 7: Continue the process using two Visuals, then two auditories and then two kinaesthetics. Then, in the same manner, continue (slowly) with one of each.

You have now completed the "external" portion of the process to hypnotize yourself. Now it's time to begin the "internal" part.

Step 8: Now close your eyes. Now, bring an image into your mind. Don't work too hard at this; this is fun, remember? You can construct an image or simply take what comes. It may be a point of light, it may be a beautiful beach, or it could be your car or an apple. I shall not scare you with the ideas that randomly pop into my mind. If something comes to you, just use it. If nothing comes, feel free to put something in your mind.

Step 9: Pause and let a sound come into your awareness or generate one and name it. Although this is technically the internal part, if you should hear a sound outside or in the room with you, it is OK to use that. Remember that the idea is to incorporate things that you experience rather than being distracted by them. Typically, in the absence of environmental sounds; I often imagine hearing whooping hallelujahs from a gospel choir; don’t ask me why, that just happens in my mind.

Step 10: Become aware of a feeling and name it. It is preferable to do this internally - use your imagination. (I feel the warmth of the sun on my face) However, as with the auditory, if you actually have a physical sensation that gets your attention, use that.

Repeat the process with two images, then two sounds, then two feelings. Repeat the cycle once again using three images, three sounds, and three feelings.

Then to complete the process, open your eyes when your alloted time is up - It is not unusual to feel a little bit "spaced out" or wander off somewhat. At first some people think that they have fallen asleep. But generally you will find yourself coming back automatically at the end of the allotted time that you set before you chose to hypnotize yourself. Trust that you weren't sleeping and that your unconscious mind was doing what you asked of it.

Many people don't get all the way through the process. That's perfectly all right. If you should complete the process before the time has ended, just continue with 4 images, sounds, feelings, then 5 and so on. It is a simple way of just getting you acquainted with how to hypnotize yourself.

Quercetin- a flavonol

Quercetin is one of the flavonoids groups. It is in fact a flavonol. It is found in apples, onions, tea, red grapes, leafy green vegetables, citrus fruits, broccoli, cherries, raspberries, prickly pear cactus, and some varieties of honey. Especially, those made from the Eucalyptus flower.

Quercetin is a very active form of flavonoid. It is present in many medicine plants that have been used since ancient times, like the Aloe Vere. It is also found in many fruits, vegetables, and herbs.

It is anti inflammatory, which helps to promote healing and boosts the body's immune system. It also helps in preventing certain ailments and diseases.

It slows down the release and manufacture of histamine, and as such, is good for the relief of allergies and insect bites. It does this by blocking the secretion of histamine. It is also anti inflammatory, and as such, can help with certain types of arthritis and prostate inflammation. It increases the manufacture of fibronectin and collagen, which help to keep joints and skin in good condition. It promotes the healing of wounds and abrasions and aids in repairing nerve damage.

Quercetin is a phytoestrogen which works like estrogen, and is helpful in inhibiting the growth of breast cancer. It binds to estrogen receptors and stops the breast cancer cells from getting estrogen. This will stop their growth. It has also been found to be very useful in prevention of hardening of the arteries. It prevents build up of macrophages. Quercetin also strengthens capillaries helping with blood flow and circulation.

It is also an antioxidant. In fact it is known to be one of the most powerful ones available today. This means that it protects the body from free radicals. The liver produces these free radicals as part of the metabolic process. The free radicals can cause damage and aging to the body's cells.

Research is being done to possibly help with cancer, respiratory diseases, heart disease, and cataracts. Research with Quercetin has shown that it helps to prevent cancer by preventing the flow of oxygen and nutrients to cells with cancer.

As you can see, Quercetin is a very powerful substance and has multiple uses in the body. It can also be taken in the form of diet supplements. These are available in health food stores or through distributors. It is very wise to consult with your doctor before you take any diet supplements. Although natural products like Quercetin, rarely have side effects.

Casino war

I love to play a good round of Poker or Roulette and generally try to squeeze in a few games a day if at all possible. But at other times I like to spice up my game play a bit and try something different. I used to play the game of War when I was a kid because it was a simple game to learn and extremely fun. At the time I never envisioned that it could be more fun, but by playing it in an online casino it is.

War is a game of getting the higher card. If the player gets a higher card than the dealer, they win. There's not too much to it. The game really gets exciting when both the dealer and the player get the same value of card, that's when the battle starts. If both the dealer and the player both get the same value card the dealer will deal each of them three cards face down and one card face up. The person that has the higher card at this point wins. The player has the choice to not got to war, of course, and can fold if they get the same value of the card as the dealer before the battle begins.

While the game of War doesn't enjoy the immense popularity that the game of Poker it does it is still an enjoyable game to pass the time. In fact, it might be one of the best choices for beginners because it gives a beginner the opportunity to learn the values of the cards before they get involved in more sophisticated games like Poker and Blackjack. Because War uses Poker cards this is a great place for people that aren't sure of what the cards mean what to learn before they walk uneducated into a Poker room where the stakes will inevitably be much higher. War uses the same fifty two card deck of Poker cards that many of the other table games use. Because of this it is very easy for most people to transition to a game of War even if they have never played before.

While Poker and Blackjack remain the standard fare for most online casinos it is great that there are those online casinos that offer players more choices than just the same run of the mill games that everyone else does. For me variety is what life is all about and by offering several alternatives to the standard games, games that I love I might add, it makes the day a little better. Everyone gets a little tired of the same old thing from time to time and War is a breath of fresh air.
